Companionship Of The English Pointer

One of my favorite breeds of dogs is the English Pointer. They originated in England in the 1600’s and were brought to America in the late 1800’s. They continue to be a very popular dog in the southern states. They are primarily used there as hunting dogs and are sometimes referred to as the bird dog.
